glass ceiling

I have reported on an excel file the number of professor (FP), associate professor (AP) and researcher (E) in Italy, divided by gender.

I have taken as example three macro sector of engineering (9G:Control+biomedical), (9H:telecommunications and electromagnetism) (9F: Computer Science)

One  macro sector of Mathematics (1A) and one macro sector of Biology (5B)

Clearly in biology and mathematics the number of graduated male and female is almost the same, while in engineering is around the 20%, but in all cases,  you can see that the number of male in  higher position is incredibly higher.

I reported the percentage of female with respect to the total number.
