LAURA GIARRE’  will give a seminar entitled

Past, Present and Future Research and Interests

Past: Starting from some of my recent lines of research and projects (identification, dynamical networks, smart grid, IOT, assistive technologies), I frame them in an unique picture: a Smart City offering new services based on pervasive technologies. Present: I focus my attention to two recent projects for the visually impaired people I am involved into: Arianna Project – a Smartphone-based Navigation System and 5th sense Project – Situational Awareness using spatial navigation and object identification. Future: Possible integration of my competences and international networks with Department research lines.
